Project Description

Bridgeway Commerce Center is a 424,000-square-foot Class A multi-tenant warehouse and distribution complex that sits at a pivotal point between the ports of Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Newport News. Wolf worked with Liberty Property Trust to maximize the development potential of the site. We addressed complex environmental and stormwater management issues, which included the design of a sequenced interconnected system of grass swales, lined with rock check dams, to achieve the appropriate stormwater quality treatment requirement. This solution resulted in cost savings as we eliminated the need to invest in additional stormwater ponds and increased the development capacity of the site.

Project Description

Two new roughly 4,000-square-foot Raising Cane’s are under construction in Hampton Roads. Each location, featuring a 100-seat dining room and double lane drive-thru, will bring about 150 jobs to the area.
The Hampton location at 1044 W. Mercury Blvd. will open in October where Casual Male XL was located. The York County restaurant at 3150 Kiln Creek Parkway is slated to open in November. The former Ruby Tuesday at that corner site along Victory Boulevard was leveled.

Project Description

The nearly 8-acre site was formerly home to Sears, Roebuck & Co., where older Norfolk residents may recall taking their washers and lawn mowers for repairs. Sears sold the property to General Foam Plastics Corp. in 1983. General Foam, which creates plastics goods such as lawn Santas and kiddie pools, currently uses the large brick building for storage. The 41,179-square-foot store is expected to employ 95 people, said Chuck Richards, market manager for Wal-Mart.
