Overview

Our crews are Certified Stormwater Inspectors (CSI) and are all certified in Confined Space Entry and Rescue. The Wolf team combines scientific backgrounds, construction knowledge and respect for the environment to provide a full range of installation, monitoring and maintenance services. Wolf Contractors can provide a maintenance program to fit your particular facility needs to save you money.

The Right Equipment

Whether a silt fence or cluster of stormwater filtration basins, Wolf is equipped to make sure you comply with the latest DEQ standards as related to stormwater management. Some of our typical stormwater management equipment include liquid pump trucks, long-reach excavators, and high-pressure jet trucks.

Stormwater Management is the practice of controlling the quality and quantity of water that accumulates as a result of precipitation and runoff. While stormwater is of little concern to natural areas, it can present a problem when these areas are replaced with impervious surfaces such as roofs, parking lots, and foundations. Instead of being absorbed into the ground, excess water runs off into storm drains, drainage ditches, and sewer systems which can cause flooding, erosion, infrastructure damage, and contamination.

Permitting and Compliance

  • Stormwater Pollution and Prevention Plans (SWPPPs)
  • Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans
  • Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permits
  • National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permits
  • Industrial Multi-Sector General Permits (MSGPs)
  • Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) and Water Quality Control Plans
  • Sampling, testing, monitoring, and agency reporting
  • control of flooding and erosion
  • control of hazardous materials to prevent release of pollutants into the environment (source control)
  • planning and construction of stormwater systems so contaminants are removed before they pollute surface waters or groundwater resources
  • acquisition and protection of natural waterways or rehabilitation and
  • building “soft” structures such as ponds, swales, wetlands, or Green Infrastructure solutions to work with existing or “hard” drainage structures, such as pipes and concrete channels.

As a property owner or manager, you’re legally responsible for ensuring that your property’s stormwater facilities are properly maintained and function as designed.

Most facilities are inspected by the County every three years. To ensure that you’re fully compliant with all rules and requirements, and to prevent large repair bills, it’s important to perform regular maintenance.

We work with you to provide the right maintenance solutions that ensure water runoff is appropriately collected and controlled, and that your facility meets local regulations.

Reduced Runoff. Sustainable Savings.

Our stormwater services span program development, flood mitigation, erosion and sediment control (ESC), including green infrastructure services such as constructed wetlands, bioretention/biofiltration solutions, watershed restoration, rainwater harvesting, and porous/permeable pavement. We can help you minimize stormwater runoff while maintaining a safe, compliant, and sustainable water supply.
